Great Virgin Party Drinks Video Tip

Summary: Not everyone likes alcoholic drinks and so at any party you need to have some virgin options for your guests. Here are a few ideas and also some tips on how to handle your guests and the alcohol you serve them.

It's always exciting when you can throw a bash of a party, and one thing you should consider is whether or not to have alcohol or if you should offer various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It's always a good idea to offer virgin drinks (or non-alcoholic drinks) for a couple different reasons so you should have a few great options.

You should first of all understand a couple of things about providing drinks for your party and why you should have virgin drinks in the first place. There is a very likely chance that there will be one or two people at least who won't want to or don't drink alcohol and so, being the gracious host you are, you will provide other options for them so those non-alcohol drinking guests. You also need to be aware of the level of inebriation of your guests so you can regulate the alcohol intake; you don't want a party to be ruined by having a too drunk guest. Having virgin drinks is a great way to keep your party under control.

Here are some great virgin drinks you can try to keep your party under control and still fun!

Sparkling Apple Peace Sunrise

  • One 10-ounce can of non-alcoholic frozen fuzzy navel mix
  • Two 20-ounce cans of sparkling cider

Blend all ingredients in a blender, then add ice cubes as desired. Sip and enjoy!

Mild Eyes Margaritas

  • 2 cups of lemon or lime soda
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • The juice of ½ of a lime
  • Salt
  • Crushed ice

Pour soda into ice cube tray or shallow pan, and then freeze it solid. Place frozen soda in a blender, adding the lime juice and sugar. Blend until well-mixed. Rub lime around the rim of a glass and then dip glass into salt. Pour the mixture over crushed ice and then into the salt-rimmed glasses. Garnish with a lime slice.

Holiday Punch

  • 1 large jar cran-grape juice
  • 1 liter bottle ginger ale
  • 1 container orange sherbet
  • Whole cranberries

Combine juice and ginger ale. Add sherbet by small scoops. Top with cranberries.

I hope you enjoy these few options for virgin drinks; you can definitely have a fun bash and not have alcohol! The biggest thing to keep in mind if you have alcohol at your party is to keep the party fun and the liquor regulated—a too-drunk guest is no fun and can result in spoiling the party for all. Good luck in your party-throwing bash!
