The following is the video's transcript:
It's always exciting when you can throw a great party, and one thing you should consider is whether or not to have alcohol or if you should offer various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It's always a good idea to offer virgin drinks (or non-alcoholic drinks) for a couple of different reasons.
There is a good chance that there will be one or two people at your party who don't want to or don't drink alcohol. Being the gracious host you are, you will provide options for them. You also need to be aware of the level of inebriation of your guests so you can regulate the alcohol intake; you don't want a party to be ruined by having a "too drunk" guest. Having virgin drinks is a great way to keep your party under control.
Here are some great virgin drinks you can try to keep your party under control and still have fun!
This first one is called mild-eyes margaritas. Take...
Pour soda into ice cube trays or shallow pans, and then freeze it solid. Place the frozen soda in a blender, adding the lime juice and the sugar. Blend until well-mixed. Rub lime around the rim of a glass and then dip the glass into some salt. Pour the mixture over the crushed ice and then into the salt-rimmed glasses. Garnish with a lime slice. Makes a great drink!
For another great idea, how about some great-tasting holiday punch? Take...
Combine juice and ginger ale together. Add the sherbet by small scoops, and then top with the cranberries.
I hope you enjoy these few options. You can definitely have a fun bash even without alcohol! The biggest thing to keep in mind if you have alcohol at your party is to keep the party fun and the liquor regulated. Good luck in your party-throwing bash!
