Lemonade with a Zing

It is time for summer and you are ready to break out the patio furniture and fire up the grill. You want to have hamburgers and hot dogs and fried potatoes and potato chips and watermelon slices and corn on the cob and, of course, lemonade. Lemonade is one of the tastiest parts about summer and it almost always hits the spot—lemonade can go with almost any meal, whether that be hamburgers on the grill or chuck roast and mashed potatoes. If you want your lemonade to go with any meal and to fit for any occasion, then you need just the right recipe. Here is the best recipe for lemonade that will leave you, your family, and your guests clamoring for more.

Start out with your regular Crystal Lite lemonade mix. You can even use the generic brand if you want, because it works just as well. Dump the lemonade powdered mix into a pitcher and fill it a little more than halfway with water. The best way to put the water into the pitcher is to use the sprayer hose attached to your sink. Shoot cold water out of that, and the intense stream of water succeeds in mixing the lemonade mix into the water.

Once the water is mixed in with the lemonade powder, pour an entire bottle of lemon-lime sparkly carbonated water into the pitcher. Use a wooden spoon to mix the carbonated water and the lemonade together. The next thing you need to add is two to three ice cubes made out of lime juice. (Obviously these will need to be made before you make the lemonade.) Use a knife to cut up the lime juice ice cubes against the side of the pitcher. You want the lime juice cubes to melt as quickly as possible, so the smaller the pieces of frozen lime juice, the quicker the frozen lime juice will melt.

Now you have the best lemonade concoction around. Pour and drink it as you would any other drink. You might want to have enough supplies on hand for a couple of pitchers of lemonade, because trust me, this stuff goes fast! This lemonade is the best kind because it tastes like regular lemonade with a zing: the carbonation adds some bubbly fun for your tongue and the lime juice adds just enough of a zing to make your taste buds dance. This is the best lemonade recipe around, and it hardly costs a thing! Good luck! I'm sure it will be a success!
