Blender Wheat Pancakes

Written by Doris Donnerman (last updated February 14, 2020)

Here is a great recipe for pancakes that will give you energy and stamina to last you all throughout the day. You could eat these and be on-the-go for the whole day! Here are the ingredients that you will need:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3/4 cup of wheat (grain)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 4 tablespoons of oil

Start off making your pancakes by blending the milk and the wheat grain in a blender on high for four to five minutes. The grain and milk mixture should be quite fine, fine enough to be considered something akin to a pancake mix! Now what you have to do is to add the eggs, sugar, salt, baking soda, and oil. Put these ingredients into the blender and blend the entire mixture on low for a few minutes until everything is completely combined. That's one of the best things about this pancake recipe: you make it in the blender! Talk about easy, right?

Once the pancake batter is blended, you can start actually making the pancakes. What you have to do is to heat up a large skillet, frying pan, or griddle, spray it with Pam (or just grease it somehow), and pour little dollops of pancake batter onto the griddle (or whatever you're using), and let each side cook. When one side is done cooking, use a spatula to flip it and then let the other side cook. Then you should know what to do from here: heat up the syrup (because we all know inside that cold syrup is disgusting), butter the pancakes, pour the syrup over the pancakes, and enjoy!
