Coffee Drinks

Coffee, a favorite beverage for many of us each day, is enjoyable as well as invigorating. Waking up to a hot mug of coffee can be a great way to start the day and get energized, and that rich, coffee flavor is a delicious treat first thing in the morning.

Of course, brewing a piping hot cup of coffee in the morning is not the only way to enjoy this popular beverage. If you visit any coffee shop, you'll find yourself bombarded with various coffee choices in all shapes, sizes, and flavors. Having so many options can be great, but you might feel a little overwhelmed.

If you are curious about trying different kinds of coffee drinks, don't be afraid to drink something new. Here are some favorites that you might want to consider trying:

  • Espresso. This drink is coffee that is more highly concentrated and thicker than normal. It is used in other drinks as well.
  • Cappuccino. This drink is made with espresso, frothed and steamed milk, and cinnamon as a topping. They make a delicious, rich coffee treat.
  • Iced Coffee. This drink is very popular, especially during the warm months. Coffee is chilled and served with ice, and can be made sweet by adding sugar and other flavorings.
  • Mocha. This delectable beverage includes coffee and chocolate together, ingredients that create a delicious, creamy taste.
  • Frappe. A frappe is an icy coffee drink that many enjoy. It is a bit like a milkshake—cool and creamy.
  • Instant Coffee. Although perhaps not as upscale as other options, instant coffee offers a quick coffee fix for those on the go. These are available in powder and liquid form and have various flavor choices.
  • Black Coffee. This is, of course, coffee that is served black. This means that no extras, such as cream and sugar, are added to the brewed coffee.
  • Cafe Latte. Put simply, this is coffee with scalded milk mixed in.

These are just a few of many coffee drink options that you will find at the coffee shop or at the store. You can even make them yourself at home with the proper equipment and ingredients. If you love the taste of coffee, you will love trying new coffee drinks. Enjoy cold coffee drinks in the hot months, and indulge in creamy, hot coffee when it's cold. There are so many varieties; you'll never get bored of your favorite beverage.
