Chicken casserole is one of those dishes that should always be quick and easy to make. If you're in a hurry, need a fast meal, need to take dinner to someone last minute, or prepare meals ahead of time for a big occasion, then throwing chicken casserole somewhere in your plans may be a good idea. The trick is finding a good and easy chicken casserole recipe; we're here to help so here's one for a fantastically easy creamy chicken casserole.
Drain the chicken and place it in a buttered 9 x 13 covered dish. Sprinkle the chicken with pepper and seasonings to taste.
Mix the cream of chicken soup and half a soup can of milk. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
Fix stuffing according to the directions on the box and spoon it over the soup.
Sprinkle broccoli on top of the stuffing and arrange the slices of cheese to cover everything.
Cover the casserole dish with the lid or aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Let cool for just a few minutes and then serve right away. Makes a great main course for an easy meal.
